Tried it! Huge success!

Wanted to make it look like an actual 'flower'. This was my first quick, crude attempt.

I cheated and strung it on one of Walter's foot toy skewers.

Nectar was too thin, so I mixed nectar and pureed apple and pear. Put it in a piping bag and piped into about every other straw.

Took him literally 30 seconds to start using it!

I figured they might have. I have a small shelf in Rupert's cage, but one that spans the length of the cage would be awesome! The fleece covers are easy; you'd just be tying the ends for a while.

Wow, I've never seen (or really thought of) a foraging toy for a lori. What a fantastic idea! And he clearly likes them. :laugh: The frog is such a cute touch on the second flower.
