Be careful.. plus , I need some info

Okay, to start off with, my parents want a cockatoo, (they know what they're getting into, trust me, I've told them ) and so they were looking around, and we came across an ad for a cockatoo with cage for 400 dollars. That's not right... so we looked into it, and it turns out this dude actually lives like 20 hours away from us, and was asking us to send him money to ship the bird to us.um.. no. It's a scam.
So just look out for these, I've already seen 3 other scam posts today with cockatoo .

Anyone know of any bird rescues in Texas? I'm having a hard time finding them .

Best of luck with it. I did a quick Google search for rescues in Texas and it seems to be a lot of them. It never ceases to amaze me many parrot rescues there are out there. I wish I could help you more...

Have you looked on Petfinder? I'm not sure where you are in Texas, but I found Wings of Love on Petfinder. It appears that they have a couple of toos at least.

Both are scams, @macawpower58 .
They're all like "oh actually I live like 20 hrs from where I say I am, and you need to send money to have them shipped" not to mention, the U2 Is posted in every major Texas city, but the guy says he's in Georgia.
