New to Kakarikis, what cage size?

I am looking to get a Kakariki, but not sure about the cage size. The largest cage I can afford is H131xW78xD52cm (H51.5"x31"x20.5")- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Milo-Misty-Cockatiels-Lovebirds-Parakeets/dp/B074183YN2/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1503393304&sr=8-12&keywords=milo+and+misty

I may be able to get one a few inches bigger however I am a college student, so have other things to pay for as well. That being said, do Kakarikis tend to get lonely? Me being a college student means I will be at college a lot, although I do intend on spending time with her out the cage before I leave for college each day and from the time I get back until I need to sleep, I am afraid this is not enough. I have read up on their diet, toys, etc,however cannot find info on a cage- all articles say "the biggest you can afford." which is a bit sceptical.

Kakarikis love to fly, so I would get a cage with as much horizontal space as you can. I don't know exactly what would be considered a minimum for them. I would think they require a decent amount of space compared to similarly small birds just on account of their highly active nature.

hi there, if its anything like mine no cage would be big enough.!they are busy inquisitive birds and they need their freedom. always investigating, poking their noses in, escape artists, should i go on? i have a cockatiel also, which is very different. kakarikis are wonderful, gentle, intelligent birds, but to be honest now that i've owned one i realise just how much space they need. an aivary preferably, also, not sure if its kind to keep him or her on their own. if your out a lot. how about getting some fish?. no horribleness intended

Kakarikis are intensely active and social birds who need a great deal of space. IMO this cage would be fine for a kakiriki that was out for the majority of the day with access to a variety of play areas in a free flight room.

Honestly I don't think a kakariki & college life would be a great fit.

Haven't owned any but once when I was getting food from the local bird specialist pet shop, there were about 5 escapee kakariki! This tells you a lot about their personalities. Also I have read they are fragile but don't know if this is true.
