Well. We just got 2 new little feathered friends..
I honeslty couldnt resist too.
Male and Female (Cockatiel)
Plus, from how they lived before, i wanted to help out.
1.Their cage was way too small (Picture)
2.I think they were only fed "Fruit flavored " pellets
3.There was a "cosy hut" green fuzzy toy thing (which i threw away)
But now they're in our hands, with a bigger cage, which im planning on getting a even bigger one some time. And im giving them lots of seed (they eat it like they never have before) and ill convert them to the pellets i have some time as well. While he was showing them to us, he grabbed them, like with his whole hand around them and pulled them out despite them trying to hold on to the perches.
They have trust issues, (im working on it) And the female will go to the cage wall and hold on to the bars if i open the cage door, but i talk to them gently and she'll calm down. Plus, he clipped their wings wayyyy to short and uneven. They cant fly, at. All. If they try theyll go straight down.
My brother and i are working with them, and now they arent afraid as much and wil accept food from our hands !
they are very sweet
Also they seem alot better in our care so far
Well, introducing 2-year old Batman and Pepper
(The pictures below are from the previous owner, ill get nicer pics soon)
(Please tell me if im doing anything wrong aswell )
