We opened our home to this girl and I was just curious as to what type of eclectus she is.

I've always wondered how people can identify one Eclectus species from amother.

It’s okay! I’m right there with you! I can tell one type pretty easily. I’m pretty sure she’s not a vos but the others all look too alike to me

Most likely a solomon island because of the purple eye ring

My guess was Solomon as well but I've also heard she may be a grand due to her size? She's really small compared to most ekkies I've ever seen and someone said grand are smaller?

They don't have the purple eye ring, Solomon Islands are also small. It's possible she's a hybrid, but definitely not a pure grand because of the eye ring

Maybe she is just petite, she sure is a lucky girl whatever species she is. I can tell she will be loved and cared for in her new flock.
