Its late Winter here in Oz, and today we had a preview of Spring. I spent most of the day working in the garden. Dusty helped, wearing her harness, she sat on the green rubbish bin and chewed on the buds and bark of a tree I was pruning, supervised the construction of a potato tyre garden, then when I weeded the vegie patch she got onto the ground and chewed on the lovely green weeds. They say you "can't get good help anymore" but today I had lost of "help" When we weren't gardening she mucked about in the sun in her aviary while we humans read the Sunday papers and enjoyed the sun
