They are bedding pellets for horses. I get them at the farm store. They are made from pine.

Maybe he is trying to get them to come and live with him LOL! Actually, they already have homes.

A Caique would probably fit in quite well here. It's probably good there's no room around here for another bird.

Actually, we were offered a beautiful G2 today. One of the employees of the pet shop has to rehome her, and she immediately thought of us. Like I said, it's a good thing we don't have the room here...
