Nice shots. I've never seen a Gila Woodpecker in person before, we don't have them out this way.

I set out a hummingbird feeder, a finch sock and a waterer for birds and I have yet to see a single one come to them
Tons of robins catching worms from my grass though

We always had Flickers at our old rental. They had such expressive birdy faces and were funny to watch trying to eat from the finch feeders. We had a lot of dead and sick trees around so they had lots to eat. And yes the noise when they beat on the roof vents was great. I loved getting pictures of them when they showed up.
