Hi everyone so my buddy Bingo and I have made some progress. This might scratch some heads but I have still used this method for my bird not saying this is the best way to approach it. So I towel him slowly in his cage to get him out and immediately place him against my heartbeat so he is calm. Eventually I place him on my fingers and he sits there happily squawking Any suggestions or different methods

So Bingo doesn't come out of his cage at all when the door is left open? Does he fuss much when you towel him? Have you tried enticing out of his cage for food/treats?

When Buddy came here, about a month ago, he hesitated to come out of his cage. We offered veggies by hand to bring him out of the cage, and he became more relaxed and now comes out of his cage when we open the door in the morning. It was the natural thing to do, because Buddy is very food-driven...

Can you get a video of doing this?
