I'm very glad he has recovered the use of his feet! I've been very worried about him. It's wonderful to see him perching on his adorably rigged swing, and touching to see your concern and care for him.

I was thinking of squeezing some fresh orange juice and adding it to the DMSA but I didn't know if it would be a problem or not.
Please do not give 2 antibiotics pick one, antibiotics destroy good bacteria...give him water by serynge...they need water.

Jellybean has made a lot of improvement since the post you quoted, so I don't think the water by syringe is needed any more. :)

Im so glad your little birdy is doing better:hug8:
He may be grumpy but can you blame him? Maybe the meds make his tummy rumble or he doesnt like the taste or maybe he just having a bad moment like all people do lol. Like the above stated as soon as the meds are done all will be well

The left was the day I found him and the right is from today. We have come quite a long way. Our vet appointment is on the 10th of this month. I'm pretty sure all is well though. I'll post on the 10th and let you guys know if he's 100% out of the ball park.
Thank you guys so much for staying along with me and jellybean and helping me out.

His colors are almost luminescent. He's very striking! Once again, thank you for taking him into your home and helping him. He was so lucky that you found him.

44g isn't really that skinny. Normal is 45-55. I wouldn't stress too much. Can you feel his keel bone?
