Feedback on African Queen Aviary?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone purchased a bird from African Queen aviary in Florida? I have read some good things but I wanted to hear some firsthand feedback if any of you have any.

I've only heard good things about Jean but have not purchased a bird from her. She is very knowledgeable about Africans. I'd call and talk to her, then go with my gut.

I live in Maryland and purchased an African Grey that was hatched in Florida and hand fed by a friend of Jean in my home state. This bird was totally well adjusted and tame when I got her at 13 weeks of age. Jean is so knowledgeable and helpful with any issues or questions that may come up. I would not hesitate to get any of her birds.

Jean is a true bird lover. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a bird from here.
