I think I just discovered bird popcorn!!!!
Here is what happened:
I was feeding my finches, and the seed jar had been left out in the sun. It had heated up or something, and a few of the red millet seeds had popped! My female zebra finch penny had something strange looking in her beak, she ate it and found another one in the food bowl and ate that too. I had a closer look and what I saw astonished me! A popped red millet seed, like a tiny piece of popcorn!
I decided to try making some, and it worked!!!!
I now have tiny bird popcorn!!!!
Has anyone else done this before, or something similar???
