Well he loves Apricots (dried), Strawberries, sunflower seeds, kiwi, corn on a cob which is handy cause he can spend hours on that, Mango, Nuts, sweet potatoes and there is much more. But he can be a total weirdo and would eat a strawberry one day and doesn't like them the next.

Joey likes walnuts, nutriberry, pine nuts, dried pineapple and papaya.
I give him small piece to get him into the cage.
He also likes AO breads.
And the dried veggie mix from TNT.

My guys are food driven ( of course) and their favourite food treat is walnuts.

But their favourite treat of all is bottlebrush branches. Keeps them cooing happily all day. They shred and chew and make a huge mess on the avairy floor. But its blissfully quiet ALL DAY

Have you ever made sweet potato rolls?

Cook sweetpotato until its soft... take a little patt of peanut butter or almond butter roll into small balls and then roll in millet.
Put em on a plate and freeze them.

My flock always always always goes nuts for them.

Too cold in most of the US. Even in Houston we would have winters that killed them all. Southern FL and the West coast are perfect. But I think a trip to South Africa during one of our winters sounds better!

we saw it in central FL Clearwater Beach area, the wild Quakers were eating it like mad. I bet if you had place to grow it in pot that you could put in the basement in the winter you could grow it here too.
