I think Luka likes the old cage more because it has a perch on top, the new one is too big for that, but she (still not sure btw) she does seam to favor it, luckily, she understands "get in the cage" and she hasnt forgotten it, as such i have no troubles getting her in, or out of the cage 
If i get another parrot, i will do so purely for Luka (well, it does help if we get along too ofcourse..) to have "someone to talk to" during my away hours, the little ones seem to enjoy themselves very much when im away, so it does rid me of my guilt ;-) Our local pet shop has a Pionus, one with the white cap? its a jolly good fella and he seems to enjoy the shop, and while hes tame i like watching him more then touching him, not sure why since hes not as big as Luka is but heh.. I suppose it all comes down to trust
