I wasn't here long enough to know Dolly, it's clear that she was enormously loved and will be terribly missed...

Marley's prognosis: Heart murmur/possibly blood clots, very aggressive kidney/testicular tumor, most likely has an infection to boot, was given a shot & bottle of antibiotics, continue pain med, was very dopey, was trying so hard to sleep on his beloved swing, we made a hammock and finally seemed to settle. Tumor is pushing on nerves causing foot/leg paralysis, antibiotics may maybe maybe not help reduce some of the swelling. Vet has never in her career heard of a budgie with a heart murmur. Was not happy not being home flying free, that's for sure and is up flying around this morning

Somehow I missed this... crying as I read through this thread. The last time that Doll and I interacted was on my post about how my new haircut has increased confidence... she shared some of her thoughts there and I'm crying as I think about that post. We'll miss you, Doll. Fly high and strong, finally reunited with your darling Mango. You will be much missed.
