Saved a baby today

My dad and his co-workers were outdoors and saw a 'murder' of crows attacking baby birds. Not sure where they were or what happened to the parents
So they shooed the crows away (unfortunately they one of the two babies and took off with it) and got the remaining baby into a box with Bird suet, and let my dad bring it to us. We took it straight to PAWS Wildlife but not sure it'll live, it had a very bloodied leg, the wings were in a awkward position and the beak was chipped or something. They'll email us the outcome- hoping the baby lives!

I can't even begin to imagine how painful that must've been for the lil guy . I hope he recovers quickly.

That is the one thing i do not like about crows. Why can't they just pick on road kill? Thanks for helping the baby out. HOpe it makes it.

There is plenty of things out there for crows to eat but I guess they just felt like picking on the little birds

Glad the baby is safe. But the poor crows lost a protein source. Bummer for them and their babies that may have needed animal protein.
