Poor Bogart smells kinda like a ferret. I think he's older than what I was told. My female don't smell funny.

Have they been to an avian vet lately? Sometimes birds can smell if they are ill. Does he take baths/showers?

Yes last check up he was fine but that was a year ago. He did take a bath today. It's winter, I can't take him out. :-(

Wet birds always have a bit of an odd smell. Does he still smell that way when he'd dry?

I don't think it's good to wash them in anything but water. It may just be how he smells.

@ConureTiel ? @VictoriaVague ?

He doesn't smell today. I guess I just never noticed how he smelt when wet.

Late to the party but yeah I think a slight musty smell is normal for my tiel when she is wet and a bit less so but still detectable in my gcc.

I think most birds have some type of smell when wet. That's normal. :)
