Poor things - both you and Woodhouse. It's so hard to try your best and cross all your fingers and not have it work out the way you want.

Just realize you did all you could do, and in the very least Woodhouse was loved and cared for in his final days. We should all hope to be so lucky in ours.

May every creature, animal, human on earth be lucky enough to have someone they love, like you, to be by them in their last days here. In the end it is all that matters. It hurts to lose him, but I know he went feeling truly loved and special because of you.
