On average, how much dander do pigeons produce? Compare to a cockatiel maybe? I know cockatiels are very dusty sometimes.

I'm not buying pigeons, I am asking for a friend who is considering it.

My pidge and doves are not dusty, but they do moult 2 times a year, right now they're just falling apart..heehee. Gettin the winter " fluff".

Awe! My birds are just finishing molting. It looked like a vacuum cleaner lost against a feather pillow fight.

Thanks, my friend is considering adopting either a couple or rabbits or pigeons after their last rat passed away. Great pets but comparatively short life span unfortunately.
