do you think I have enough stuff for Babalu??:lolsign: image.jpg
I'm going to be moving the boxes on the top, to the bottom. I just need to adjust the bottom shelf so they will fit there.

You are very well stocked. It looks like you have a nice supply of colored wood for him to play with.

'Measure twice cut once'. Before you start taking all the stuff off and adjusting the shelf heights, double check the total width of the 3 bins on the top to make sure they will fit between the support bars as they are wider at the top vs. the bottom. The bin on the left looks like it would be even with the vertical bars but the one on the right looks like it is pushed over and might over hang those 2 support bars. If all else fails, you could put the 2 heaviest ones on the bottom leaving the lighter one on top. The look won't be symmetrical but it would be safer when taking something heavy like that down that is above your head.

Well, *clearly* you need about 4 more of those shelving units:lol:

What a setup and soooooo many toy parts to work with! I'm jealous (and so is Kiwi, he has about 1/2 that amount).

I had to get AA colored slats before they stopped making them for the year :)

Didnt even think about that, thanks!

:shy: I guess I have so much because he doesn't destroy his toys and I can't resist sales :merlieshops:

I buy but I don't make. It's good to know that I'm not the only one that has a lot of stuff for their fids. I have about 9 of those big ones on the top of your rack and some smaller ones. I can't wait to get settled in a new place and put them all together. Meanwhile...I keep my eyes open for sales. :D

The more I look at this the more I love this idea.
Where did you get the boxes that are in the middle shelves?

Those are plastic modular drawers, size medium and large, from Walmart.

I think Babalu needs more goodies and you need to get more storage drawers from Walmart. :D I've run out of room to store all the birds' things and right now a lot of toys are in large plastic bags. I did purchase some storage drawers (3 drawer version) from Walmart but need at least two or three more. Your storage setup looks great!

Love!
How is your macaw doing that you adopted?
I re homed her back in February, I made a thread about it. I miss her :( but she is in a way better home than I could provide, living with other macaws in a huge aviary all day. I still get updates weekly. Here she is, getting cuddles :)
