Does anyone else find it really stressful watching the babies fledging this time of year?
We had a family of Canadian Geese on our roof that had to be rescued, the babies couldn't get down. Then the whole family waddled across the busy downtown streets in search of water.
The baby crows are starving, chasing the mothers around begging for food.
Seagulls had babies on our roof too. The baby seagulls are super clumsy, one jumped off the roof and landed in a bush, wings spread out and stuck.
There is an eagle lost in the neighbourhood, it runs into high rises and the crows chase him He gets really exhausted and can't land for awhile
The crows are picking on the pigeons, I saw one be murdered a few years ago, so that is SO stressful!!!
I am so used to the sounds of them all, that I know what is going on all the time. and I worry!!!
