Hello everyone,
I have a 1 yr old green cheek conure and I have recently noticed that on one of his tail feathers is looking weired. I've attached a photo of it. If anyone has an idea of what is wrong with it I'd be so thankful.
Thank you Soo much

Yea he did have normal feathers a couple of days ago and you are correct that he's missing one half of the shaft.

It is hard for me to tell, but is it possible that the feathers on that spot have been smashed together? Sometimes, if a bird turns around quickly, and his/her tail hits into something, the feather parts become smushed towards the feather shaft. I brought this up as you said that the feathers were normal a few days ago.
