Anyone know the breeder TOREN leg band code?

curious to know where my bequest guy came from. I've looked up a ton of breeders in Canada where I live. Nothing comes up.

I have been unsuccessful locating the identity of your birds leg band. I looked on the USA list and this Canadian list. It could be a private breeder that used their own name. Are there any numbers on it?

I have never seen a band like this before. I am assuming Toren is the breeders last name. 10502 can mean different things. 0502 could be the hatch date. May of 2002. 1 or 10 could be the number given the chick ie; 1 st baby or 10 baby of that clutch or breeding pair. I'm just guessing here.

I agree! The top part is in ABC order, but once you get past Z it's all over the place!

he was from petco according to the first owner so it's probably a mill type thing sadly..

So if he was from Petco they do get their birds from two main bird farms. The number is probably just the number of sunconures from that particular farm.

I also have been searching for info on a leg band. We adopted a scarlet macaw named Mozart. We got him from PAEP in Minnesota. His band is HLA FL 109 and it is a closed band. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Chihuahua - Feathered Friends Co out of Roseburg, OR is who the band FFC is from I believe. She raises birds for Petco as well as selling to the public. Her name is Deena. Hope that helps!
