We were taking videos of her all morning. I mean, look at this vicious thing. Pretty sure we deserve some sort of medal for adopting such a problem child
For people who may be trying to decide between adopting a bird and getting a baby- I was you. Actually, scratch that, I had 100% decided that i wanted a baby. "Used birds" all had major problems that I didn't want to deal with. Better to start with a clean slate so I could mold the behaviors I wanted rather then have to try to correct a bunch of terrible habits. Because rescues are never good birds, right? They're always screaming, biting disasters. Then, against my better judgement, I decided to adopt instead. Did you watch the videos? Check out the "disaster" I rescued. Lesson learned.

It's amazing what some training and love will do. It's hard to beat cuddles like these....and I wonder why I never get anything done. I guess a handful of us have a thing for vicious rehome/rescue birds!
