pom pom balls for toys

Can you give birds art and craft pom poms??? I have a whole bag and they are quite colourful. I have a young pearly conure i just brought home and i want to know whats safe or unsafe toy wise. Hes only around 9 weeks old.

I'd not offer them to birds, pom poms are basically yarn and as far as I am concerned, it would not be wise to use for birds
