Happy 4th Gotcha Day, Grady! 
She is so precious! I am so crazy for her it is nuts. I have had my BF Amazon, Webster for almost 30 years and have also raised the BH Pionus, Lilly from a baby but there is such an attachment to Grady for me it is hard to explain. If there is such a thing as a soul mate for birds, she is mine!

She's gorgeous! Happy Gotcha Day!
Why is she my "soul bird"....lol
She is actually my daughters and lives with her.
Daughters says to her "let's go see grandma" and Grady does the happy dance and then as soon as daughter sets out the carrier, Grady runs inside of it.
When she walks into the house with her, she right away starts making the sweet noises, searching for me. If I answer to her before she sees me, she starts screaming. When she sees me she squeals in delight.
She sits with me the entire time. Stomps her feet in anger if I interact with any of the other birds while she is here. When daughter says it's time to go home, and she is sitting with me, she will jump on me and run around and hide as best she can towards the back of my neck. She will even squat lower so daughter has to pick her up. She will not willingly go back in the carrier and has to be put in there....and then she keeps moving to whatever side is closer to me. Melts my heart.
Now please understand that she loves my daughter too and wants to be with her all the time when they are at home but if we are all together, she does prefer me. I do not really know why either. But I secretly love it.

I think that is sad. She likes your daughter but she is bonded/loves you, you are her real soul mate.
She really does love my daughter too! This is one very special little bird. Not a mean bone in her body. It's a different kind of bond, so hard to explain. One word works pretty good- precious!
