Lovebird suddenly went mental!

Thank you so much for all your help! She's had one more mental fit, but now she seems to have settled :) She's very happy today and has spent her time trying to destroy my jewelry while I cleaned :3

I'll keep putting her back in her cage I think, however I'l make sure most of the time she's out of it so that it doesn't become the 'naughty house' haha.

A great way to stop an attack immediately is to use a towel to gather up the bird prior to removing them from your body. I then place the bird on the nearest playgym and walk away. Even if the bird flies back to me, I make sure I ignore them for five minutes as punishment. I will cage them if they bite me while I am ignoring them. Their favorite thing to do is spend time with me. Not allowing them to do that is usually enough correction to cause then to adjust their behavior themselves.
