Percy stopped bitting me

after i started giving him milk thistle and dandelion in his water once a week he stopped biting as much i think he was not feeling as good without it

Why the thistle and dandelion? What was wrong that he needed those, and did he feel bad enough to be nippy?

he was proscribed those by a vet then dr Echos said no and i took him off but the last few months i saw signs of him not being himself so i put him back on them i do not recommend any one else doing this without vet supervision do not be sorry i do not post much

Is this a prescription medication? I would love to know more about this. Very interesting since i am struggling with a bird biting. He has already fractured my thumb/

no it is not it is equal parts of milk thistile dandlion equanea and 2 parts juice for taste this will not stop bites in your bird Percy had not bitten me in years and was not as chipper as he use to be he was bitting because he was not feeling well slightly off this recipe was given to me by a vet for Percy and only him i would try to see how you could build up the trust value and through positive reinforcement start at the begining and build from there give your bird more choices and do not push him into a place where he thinks his only option is to bite clicker training may help
