Ekkies in apartments?

We got a 10 yr old eclectus female and in the beginning she would scream when something bothered her. It took about 3 months for this screaming to stop. Now it wasn't all day long, she had her daily moment where something bothered her. Then it was rare after that she would sound off. During her hormonal times she could be very loud and often. So like said before, she could be quiet in the store but in a new environment there could be about a three month adjust phase where she will sound off LOUD.

6 months isn't very long. Especially when you're talking about an animal who has a lifespan of decades and decades. I would just wait until you're out of the apartment. Then you can get whatever bird you want and not have to worry
