update on M2

Wanted to thank everyone who helped me with the m2 I took in of my friend.It was a little bumpy at first, overwhelming to say the least but with everyone's help here on the forum we are making progress.
Some days are interesting just seeing what kind of mood he is in each day.people were not kidding when they said it was like having a two year old again.....I still struggle with getting him to eat.I have learned that if I spoon feed him baby food veggies he does best.He is very picky, one day he likes something, the next day he doesn't. He only has use of one foot so that makes it hard on him and me trying to move him around on different perches and flat surfaces so his foot doesn't get tiered.For the most part he is a very sweet little guy.

Another update on luke the M2 He was doing really good for awhile, he was able to walk some on his bad leg, starting to act happy like a cockatoo, still a picky eater but doing better, and then he fell off the counter and re injured his leg again. Back to the vet we went, he is on two kinds of pain medications and they put him back on Prozac but a much lower dose to see if he will stop picking at his chest. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Luke went to see Dr Hilmer yesterday,he has a torn ligament in his left leg,knee and stifle issues...know wonder he was in so much pain,more pain meds but at least he is more comfortable tonight and is eating much better. We did a cbc on him and he has low white blood count, he is also on antibiotics for an infection.
We are going to ween him off of the Prozac which I am very happy about.hopefully he will be on the mend soon. Love that big guy so much.

Luke sure has changed and it is breaking my heart,He does not want anything to do with me now,He just stays in his cage and shreads his phonebook, rings his bell and makes toothpicks with his wood.He is starting to put some pressure on his leg but it is very slow going. I sure hope he heals and becomes my friend again...
