I was a foster for exotics many years back. Always had many critters- snakes, iguanas, centipedes... you name it. Life became complicated with work so I simplified things and only had my dog and cat... then I moved from USA to Hong Kong- and then most recently to Dubai. I live on a man made island- big house with a aviary with beautiful weather (no Minnesota winters).

We live, with 4 birds in the aviary:
Alpha & Omega (finches), Eeb & Ola (lovebirds)
I have about 20 Silverbill finches outside, and a ringnecks wild
In the home:
I have Siva (means grey in croatian) Congo African Grey
Remy my Chorkie, and Mishka my Siamese.

We are blessed with a fantastic pet relocation company. They handle everything so the animals get to come out at the airport and stops, get food and water and are VIP track through the airport with no quarantine or customs. If you are going to do it, do it right!

But I do hear they have some great courses... We are more of the Paddle boarding, hiking, dune racing, windsurfing, kiteboarding. Hence living on a island

I had a blue head pionus- and when she was adopted- I cried for weeks. I still remember her smell
