How resilient are the feather tether harnesses?

Aviator harness has a very iffy (chewable) line and Avian Fashions or diapersforbirds has the lanyard leashes where I'm looking for something longer and durable for certain occasions.

How easy are they to take on/off compared to Aviator harnesses?

I loved getting the feather tether's on until they learned to open the snaps. :wideyed: My leashes for the tether's are also very chewed up.

The Aviator harnesses take a bit of teaching for some birds to wear them, IMO worth the effort as they can't get them off. I have no chewing to the Aviator harness leashes.

I don't think my cockatiel will open the snaps, but she's really interested in chewing the small elastic on the aviator harness, Not enough to do much damage but enough for me to consider alternatives. For larger parrots that snap probably isn't the best idea for some birds :o:
Thanks!
