I am a total fan of Nut.com Nuts.com | NutsOnline | Premium Bulk & Wholesale Nuts, Dried Fruits & Gift Baskets When an order is placed in the morning I get an e mail back from them that afternoon saying "your order has been shipped" The best thing about them is the customer service and high quality of what they offer. I have been ordering quite a bit of my bird's diet there in the form of seeds. Here is a list of the seeds I buy: (all organic)

SEEDS
Chia
Unhulled Sesame
Unhulled Hemp (only place I have ever found the unhulled seeds)
Unhulled Milk Thistle (just started this one)
Raw Pumpkin
Flax is available but I do not feed this to my birds.

Nuts of any kind are available and are also raw, organic

No I do not work for this company, just a huge fan! :feedpigeons:

I'm really considering placing an order with them. Guess I need to call my vet to find out if the nuts should be roasted or not. I posted a thread about this a while back.....got some responses but not an "overwhelming" one and I'm a worry wart. Best to go to the doctor to find out anyway though, right?

Almonds and Walnuts seem to have good nutrients. I have small birds so I food process them and add to food. Most any nut will do except peanuts.

I plan on finely grinding them up at first to a powder and dusting her food with them and adding it to her birdie bread til she gets used to the taste then offering them as a treat.
