I made a 2'x2' PVC hammock with sisal rope.
Supplies
precut 2 foot PVC lengths
four elbow connectors
Four eye hooks
Four 2 foot pieces of chain
2 Sisal rope 1/4 inch thick - 50 foot

I drilled holes in the PVC big enough to feed the rope through every two inches
I presrilled holes for the eye hooks in the elbows
I put the PVC together - no glue, the rope holds it
I strung the rope through and wove it
Screwed in the eye hooks
Attached the chains

Done!

It's in the bird room and there is paper on the floor beneath it. I only walk beneath it to put birdys away in their cages. :)

I'll have to figure out how much it cost to make, it wasn't hard.

My Sun and Quaker hopped on it for a couple minutes. I think they will like it as they get used to it. The best part is it works for my littlest and it's large enough for my macaw.

You could also hang it from a wall. Like a cargo net and hang stuff off it that way.

I'm pretty happy with it. I saw someone else do one with branches and I thought that it would be easier to do with PVC. I can never find the right kind of branches to use.

Well if you ever do sell them, let us know!
