Christmas Ornaments

It is time to start ordering your Christmas ornaments!

I have a couple different kinds to offer this year.

Wood ornaments are $10. I can paint the background any color you'd like, and fit up to two birds on it.


Ceramic ornaments are $10. I can paint the background any color you'd like, and can only fit one bird one it.



Plastic ball ornaments are $10. You can choose from clear, green, and red. I can only fit one bird on them.

I'd love to be able to get a bird friendly Christmas shaped toy not just circles and squares and bobbins of wood ! imagine some of these shapes in the Christmas colours as a big toy in the parrots cage

Yeah, that would be awesome! Sadly, I don't think that those ornaments are bird safe, so I wouldn't use them to make a toy....

I was going to say that if you color the solid color in the food colorants then paint the birds on in food coloring too but it would do too much bleeding and there would not be any detail ... although why would someone do detailed painting just to get chewed up quickly??!!! LOL!

It would take someone who makes bird toys to be able to do it, but with fids that eat their way through toys in a couple of weeks, well that's a perfect duration for Christmas toys in the house
I don't think I'd risk buying shop bought cut outs for human usage as I am never sure of how or what they use to treat things over here.

Maddy - Sure I'd like 2 done, one done of my "Kuka" my B&G Macaw and one done of "Blu" my Blue Headed Pionus. I'd like the background on both to be red and I like as realistic as you can get!! Beaks are important on being in portion. I can send you a image of each bird, not sure if you want original digital images or what, let me know. Do you accept PayPal and do you require a deposit to start? What is the time frame this sort of thing takes for the whole job once you start on it? I know you have to do these in your spare time as I know you are in school and other things too! Thanks!

Hey everyone! I had ordered two ornaments from Maddy ... one of my B&G Kuka and one of my Blue Headed Pionus, Blu. Oh, they are so gosh darn nice! They are each 3-3/4" in diameter & 3/8" thick. I show a pic of the two on my little tree! Thank you again so much Maddy, you've done a super job!
