It's a "post goal", if you will, that if you have x-amount of posts, you get a title.

Yes, it's automatically set. Your Milestone changes as your post count goes up.

IF you really want your jaw to drop, go up to the top of the page and click on Members and look @ the first one listed. Anne of Anne & the Gang is now riding the skies with those fids of her gang who crossed Rainbow Bridge and is watching over her survivors who were adopted by AA members in Canada. She's much missed and very much remembered.
