A Great Day with Joey

Joey, my Jardine's, has been going through a very nippy, stubborn phase. He's 16, and should be past all that. The other day I was very annoyed with him and I think he knew it.

Yesterday he was the perfect bird! He didn't fight with his stick -- he stepped up right away. And in the evening he sat quietly on me, and only tried to get to my buttons a couple of times. When I said no, he stopped. He was very cuddly.

Do they ever get over testing?

Sounds like Joey had a change of heart and decided to be nice for a change. Birds can change as they get older so hopefully it will last.
