We now learned what T-Rex liked in terms of showers and it's taking his shower with us Our shower is small so he gets splashed on from us and he seems to go crazy for that. He was soaked! Here are a few pics while he was in the shower with my boyfriend (don't worry I didn't include my boyfriend in the pics )

On another topic I'm so happy: for the first time T-Rex flew from his perch to me just to come say hello! He had done it a few times before but it was always when I had food but now I didn't have any! He stayed on me about one minute and then flew back to his perch but it's a wonderful beginning!

He's most adorable. My bronze wing would take showers with me every time! As soon as the spray was just right she would fluff up every feather, extend her wings and hang over my arm to catch every bit. So cool! My CAG is not so thrilled about this prospect on the other hand.

As far as flying to you it took Lurch 5 years to be mostly happy with me and now any time I try to walk away he hunts me down and plops on my shoulder. Usually he starts happily preening and watching what I'm up to, but sometimes he's upset about a evil hat or not getting something he wants and screeches and pops me in the neck.
Be careful just in case but sounds like he'll be velcro soon enough and wants to be with you on his own

Hey J.T. sorry I haven't had time to upload new picture we've been super busy I'll get some up soon.

T-Rex is doing great btw, more and more tame, now steps up rather reliably and insists on scritches before going to bed and when waking up. He's getting better and better at flying and landing too, it's just a joy seeing him soar into the room
