I am wanting to get a blue quaker and at this time I have a choice between a regular blue quaker and a double factor blue quaker. I have googled like crazy and haven't been able to figure out the difference between the two. Could someone explain, or pictures would be even better. I am assuming the difference is in color only. Thanks!

We are also waiting to bring home a bronzewing pionus - currently 6-7 weeks old. Hoping to bring the two home at the same time from the same bird store.

Here is the blue baby, the double factor blues are just now hatching, so I haven't seen them yet.

The angle an lighting in this picture does not do this beautiful baby justice

The bronzewing has yet to be DNA tested but he/she will be. I will wait for the results of that to make a final decision. Avery is being considered and can be used male or female.

Maybe the "double factor blue" is a double factor dark? In which case, the bird could be grey in color. If it's a Single Factor dark then it would be a dark blue color. The quaker chick in the photo does appear to be dark, but that could just be the lighting?
