Can birds eat them ? i got really good deal on almost pound of them for .99 cents. i know that my grandpa use to soak them overnight and mix them in to bread for toast. do i need to soak them for my bird.

My tiels love sprouted wheatberries...and some I let grow into grass for them to chew also. Not sure how much they eat as grass but they love playing with it. Just finished growing some as grass.

AMAZING he ate some that soaked overnight, last night. He will only eat them on my shoulder but he ate about 15 berries at least.
YIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEE for messy shirt and beak.
