So sorry to hear this. It is nerve wracking when one of our birds are ill. Poor Jack, doesn't know where she is. Get well quick little one.

How is she doing today?
Hopefully any testing you get done will assist in isolating the cause.

Last I heard from the vet she was doing well, but he continues to give her injections ( I presume antibiotics)
Im sure the vet's bill will be HUGE, but I'd rather she recover there with constant monitoring, than take a turn for the worse at home when I am at work

Yes, well he quickly diagnosed pneumonia, but he has been watching her for days now, so he may have some new information when I see him next. I assume he will release her this weekend, ( after I sell the car to pay his bill lol).Hopefully any testing you get done will assist in isolating the cause.
All the other Birdies, 7 caiques and 10 lovebirds ( incl new babies) are all well and full of energy
Interestingly he is offering a home monitoring service. If I set up a web based camera in the aviary, his staff will look in often when Im at work.
Not bad service for Africa, eh?
