Been gone for weeks and this is what's keeping me busy.
Where was I, you ask?
Mini-herping, trekking and skinny-dipping atop a mountain stream in the southern region of the Philippines!

Beautiful area you were in. Even with the smudge those are great pics. I lived in the philippines back in 1970 for three months. Just a young kid at the time. We didn't do a lot sight seeing but I do remember directly behind our back yard were rice fields and beyond that was a beautiful mountain. I was too young to appreciate the beauty of the country but will never forget that mountain and watching the people work those fields.

Thanks guys and yes it is peaceful. Only the sound of gushing wind, rustling leaves and oddly loud birds are all you'll ever hear. My voice even echoes back then haha!

Well believe it or not, this was just half an hour away from a modern city. They even have cellphone and wifi reception there lol
