That's amazing! Make sure they label the cage so no one thinks she's for sale at the bird fair.

It's always wonderful to read that a lost bird has found his/her way back home. I'm very happy for you & Alyce. :)

Alyce is not home yet :sad7: . The folks that have her were planning to drive down to Orlando/Ocala a few days ago but their daughter just gave birth. Their first grandchild! It may be a few more weeks or longer.
Stanley knows she is coming home. He calls for her constantly. We'll get her here eventually our little feathered friend.
We considered doing a pet transport on a plane from Chattanooga to either Orlando or Fort Myers but the airlines said UH UH. The weather? Too hot?
Again, any roadies in Chattanooga that plan on traveling to anywhere in the central/southwestern part of the sunshine state?

Any reason you can't just drive up and get her?

I love how in america you guys are so organized with lost pet birds. If i lost any of my birds people will laugh if i post a missing bird announcement. I'm happy she was found and i hope you get to meet her again soon!

We may have to, but I dread traveling through Atlanta - probably a nice city but :wideyed:. Plus, it's at least a 16+ hour drive round-trip to Nooga, we have 60+ birdies to care of, other commitments and I start my new job next Monday :) I know, excuses, excuses, but Stanley is just gonna have to wait a little while longer. He knows she's coming home. I believe he can sense it. After all, parrots are incredibly empathic.

Thanks for all your support

Happy for you. Suggest a vet trip to be sure all is well before taking home. :dance4:

Many people worry about transmitted diseases at bird fairs. If this is true, perhaps you can meet before the doors open so your bird is not exposed to the birds for sale.
