I know ideally for a bird, you want fresh and organic. But that isn't always realistic (heck I don't think I've had fresh corn or peas ever. o_o) - I was just curious, would frozen veggies be alright if a fresh veggie isn't accessible? I'll surely put fresh as number one on the list, but can it work say once or twice a week, in between shopping trips?

Frozen is fine just make sure it is unsalted. Many frozen veggies have added salt.

Yes always check what's in with the frozen stuff otherwise all good to go. Ours get frozen as well as fresh. I just make sure they're defrosted before serving.

I will cook sweet potatoe, green beans, peas and carrots and offer them fresh, and she will pick at it. Then on other days I open a bag of frozen (peas, green beans, carrots and corn), mircro for 2 min. and she just gobbles this up.

I alternate between fresh, frozen and chop, depending on what's in my fridge.

Hard to find frozen without added salt. It is out there though, just read labels carefully.
