Trying out my new DSLR camera

I got a brand new DSLR camera yesterday, bought it for myself as an early birthday present, lol. I had taken some photos late yesterday afternoon, it had started getting dark by the time I went out though, so since it turned out to be a nice day here today, I went out and took quite a few more photos that turned out much better.

Anyway, here are the photos from today.

I wasn׳t able to get a kit unfortunately, so I bought the camera body (Nikon D5300) and 2 lenses separately, a Sigma 17-70mm 17-70 F2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM (Brand NEW Sigma 17 70mm 17 70 F2 8 4 DC Macro OS HSM Nikon MT Super Deal | eBay) and a Nikkor AF-S DX VR Zoom 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED (Nikon AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED Lens | Digital Cameras, Camera Accessories : JB HI-FI).

Thank you all! I have taken soo many photos that I am probably going to kill the camera battery before I have had it even a month or so.
