I had a pair of birds I have never seen before at the feeder yesterday, ok, more like under the feeder lol I have never seen them, or any like them before. They looked like finches or sparrows. Black on top, white on the bottom, with white beaks. I tried to get a good pic of them, but all I have in my phone lol
Any ideas on what they could have been?
I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan too by the way lol

DE Junco was the first bird that came to mind for me as well, especially being your location.

Thank you. I thought they were so beautiful, and wanted to know more about them, now I can look them up
Beautiful photo by the way.

You're lucky. I have only seen the two, the one time lol I do have Chickadees, Robins, Pigeons ( I think their feathers are beautiful), a small woodpecker once in a great while, and last summer had a pair of Bald eagles over my way, but that's it.
