Pikachu's amazing trust in J

Warning, this can only be done by my OH with Pikachu who is bonded with him. I cannot do it nor can any of us do it to any of the other birds nor would we attempt to.

The below shows J having picked up Pikachu by the scruff of the neck like a cat would to it's offspring.
He hasn't trained Pika to do it, he accidentally caught his neck feathers one day and pulled him up and Pika didn't protest and just hung there.
He will happily be picked up like this but only by J, if I even look like I am going to try Pika tells me off.
Shows some good trust between them!

Note: he only held him momentarily for one piccie as he doesn't like holding Pika like that in case it does hurt him for any length of time. Nor does he make a habit of handling Pika like that.

Neither did we till J did it by accident, he was trying to help preen him and pulled up a few too many and Pika just hung there waiting for him to put him down!

As long as it is J handling him he just goes limp and waits, it is really cute but we don't encourage it.

What? I have never seen anything like this before. I just try to do the same with Eloy, but he was to heavy so I stop.
What a great bond they have!

I remember somebody posting about their BF and parrot when they saw each other was like them running across a meadow towards each other with no one else in the world.
That's what it's like when J comes home and Pikachu sees him, true love.
