I use to breed IRNs. The start to gradually change color around 4-5 months and reach adult color by 12-15 months. ;)

Perhaps body color and for males the ring to come out.
Baby eyes alone seem to fade by around 8-9 months from my asking around.

Which also makes sense as my own IRN was about 8 months and had barely baby eyes when she was shipped to me.

I was wondering specifically because of that actually, as I was told she was like 4 months when I spoke to the breeder but I didn't remember her ever having baby eyes. Looking at the photos I took on the day she came and the first week or so, I see her eyes are baby-ish, but not fully. And they were gone very quickly.

I just always wondered how old she really was. :wacky:
