I tried it and Obi just used his long chicken neck to get the nut

I have two suggestions for you; make the string/chord longer and if you have one, put an acrylic disc (or a dome shaped toy part) on top of the treat so he can't just chicken-neck it.

It's an atom from Mother Pluckin Bird Toys (MPBT)..I have one as well and it's awesome!!!! One of the best birdie investments!

I also made one like that. But I still bought the large atom from MPBT because it is soooo much nicer. My grey only got on the blue one a few times, but he absolutely loves the atom I bought! One of the best things I've bought also

Oh and wrapping with rope isn't hard, but it will take FOREVER, And you will have sore fingers.
