Default White lump on left leg??

My Princess parrot has a white lump on his left leg, on the underside of his "knee" looks very similar to a pimple. Is it something to worry about?

About a month ago his sprained his foot and was on pain medication for a few days if this changes anything.

You might want to call your vet in the morning and talk with him...is the bird favoring the leg?...limping or such?
Does it "pick" at the bump?
Could you give us a picture of it?

He's not favouring either leg or limping, he's not picking at it either.

It was only by chance I noticed I had him in the shower and he was sitting on the shower head when I saw it. I'll try and get a picture.

We saw the vet today after his poo got runny and it's either 1 or two things.

    The good:

The Orange my gf gave him yesterday has caused him diahorea and the lump is bumble foot (walking/rubbing that's caused infection), which will all go away.

    The bad:
He has a kidney infection and bumble foot treatable by anti-biotics

    The worst:
The white lump is caused by gout kidney failure leading to a puss buildup to to the syatic nerve in the leg that connects to the kidneys, meaning he'll die.

The vet seemed more to think it was "The Good" or "The Bad"

OK...the gout IS treatable. I am not at my deskstop that has the medication that is used...and pix of the chyrstals in the kidneys (by then this is fatal)so I will go by memeory on a few things.

the first thing is you'll have to reduce protein siources in the diet. When I have has inflamed joints from gout I have added cherry juice to the water daily for several weeks. You can either squeeze 4-5 drops of juice from a fresh cherry...or from a health food store try and find cherry juice (give 4-5 drops) or cherry extract (1 drop) the other thing that is soothing on the kidneys and will help is Corn Silk extract (again found at a health food store) and add 10 drops in the water per day for a week or so.

If the bird starts to pick and pluck feathers from the rump right above the tail then it is having real bad pain from the uric acid chrystals (sp) in the kidneys and they are like tiny razors passing thru the organ.

signs of being close to renal/kidney failure is when the urates get thin, gritty and look like thin watery chalk when drying. The muscles in the breast area will feel tight and hard from severe pain, and the bird will make sioft peeping and sweeks sounds from the pain. At this point Sub-Q fluid therapy is needed for hydration and stimulating the function and urine flow from the kidneys. Learninhg Sub-Q fluid therapy(which a vet can show how, and supply you and supply with the Lactated Ringers and needles) can be a true life savior to pull a bird from renal failure.

Oh dear... he's started vomitting... We had a nice warm shower together then I popped him back out in his cage wet (It's 37°C today in Australia) to warm up and get dry then after my gf got home she plucked him out (Cold front had moved it and whipped up a small 10Minute rain storm) and he vomited on her, then again 3 times.

He's also got antibiotics in his water at the moment too.
